Epsom Salt & Lavender Bath

About

Lavender Essential Oil

This wonderful bath can help you unwind after a hectic day. As oil tends to float, the epsom salts help disperse the oils in the water. This method creates a more enjoyable bath than using oils alone. You can use other essential oils in this recipe depending on your personal preferences. Lavender is soothing & calming, rose geranium is sensual and orange is energizing.

Recipe by Linda S. – Contributor

Ingredients

Epsom salts 1/2 cup (or more)
Lavender essential oil 10 drops (or more)
Olive oil 2 tbs (or more)

Directions

  1. Make a small mound of epsom salts in bottom of tub.
  2. Make a small well and pour in olive oil.
  3. Add lavender essential oil. Fill tub with water and enjoy!

Editor’s Notes

  1. There will be an oily residue left in the tub which will make it slippery so be sure to exit the tub carefully and wash away oil before tub is next used.
