This quick & easy recipe came from the kitchen of Lorraine Picot, a holistic registered nutritional consultant. It goes with her carrot cake recipe and can also be used as a spread. This purée freezes well or keeps in refrigerator for up to one week.
Ingredients
Dried dates or dried apricots | 2 cups | |
Water | 1 cup |
Directions
- Rinse dried fruit well and soak overnight in water.
- Purée in blender or food processor until smooth.
