Ants on a Log
Celery sticks | ||
Soft spreadable cheese, nut butter or soy nut butter | ||
Raisins |
Wash and cut celery into 4″ pieces. Spread cheese or nut butter into the groove of the celery and press the raisins into the spread.
Roll Ups
Veggie "meat" slices | ||
Cream cheese | ||
Finely diced red pepper (optional) |
Spread cream cheese on one side of a “meat” slice and sprinkle red peppers onto the spread. Roll up the slice and serve as a finger food. Pack tortilla chips to go with the roll ups
Hummus Wraps
Pita bread | ||
Hummus | ||
Sprouts, diced veggies, diced cucumbers (optional) |
Open up pita pocket so you have two circles of bread. Spread humus on the inside of the pita circle and sprinkle the diced veggies on top (if your child will eat the veggies this way). Roll up the pita. Repeat with the other circle of pita
