Feta & Walnut Salad with Sprouts

This salad is a favourite recipe from my kitchen. All ingredients are to taste.

Salad Ingredients
| Red onion | ||
| Carrots | ||
| Cucumber | ||
| Alfalfa sprouts | ||
| Feta cheese | ||
| Walnuts or sunflower seeds | ||
| Apple | ||
| Thompson raisins | ||
| Chicken or turkey (optional) |
Dressing Ingredients
| Olive oil | ||
| Fresh lemon juice | ||
| Dried dill | ||
| Honey |
Directions
- Salad: Chop ingredients.
- Dressing: Start with about 2 tablespoons olive oil per person. Squeeze in some fresh lemon (about 1/4 lemon per person). Whisk together, taste, and adjust oil – lemon ratio if needed. Sprinkle in dried dill to taste. Add about 1/2 ts honey per person. Whisk thoroughly, taste, adjust dill and honey if needed.
- Toss salad ingredients with dressing. You may want to add the sprouts after the dressing (just before serving) to maintain crispness.
