Fruit Sorbet

Fruit Sorbet

Serves four.

Ingredients

Pineapple juice 1 cup
Frozen banana, sliced 1 ea
Frozen blueberries or strawberries 1/2 to 1 cup
Frozen pineapple, sliced 2 cups

Directions

  1. Blend juice in blender at medium speed.
  2. While blender is running, add slices/pieces of frozen fruit through the feed opening in the blender lid.
  3. Blend mixture until it has a “soft-serve” consistency.
  4. Pour into serving dishes. Serve immediately or store in freezer for a short time before serving.

Helpful Hints

  1. If using a Vitamix or Blendtec to make this recipe, you may need to adjust the liquid to frozen ratio for making a sorbet as well as use a different blending technique. These instructions should be in your manual.
  2. This recipe is included in the Raw Food category. If you are opting to make this a raw recipe, be sure your pineapple is unpasteurized or home made.
