Fruit Sorbet
Serves four.
Ingredients
Pineapple juice | 1 cup | |
Frozen banana, sliced | 1 ea | |
Frozen blueberries or strawberries | 1/2 to 1 cup | |
Frozen pineapple, sliced | 2 cups |
Directions
- Blend juice in blender at medium speed.
- While blender is running, add slices/pieces of frozen fruit through the feed opening in the blender lid.
- Blend mixture until it has a “soft-serve” consistency.
- Pour into serving dishes. Serve immediately or store in freezer for a short time before serving.
Helpful Hints
- If using a Vitamix or Blendtec to make this recipe, you may need to adjust the liquid to frozen ratio for making a sorbet as well as use a different blending technique. These instructions should be in your manual.
