Micro-Baked Apples

This recipe is great for those looking for a dessert that is very low in fat and sugar. However, small amounts of butter and brown sugar could be added if desired.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

Apples, cored & peeled 2 ea
Raisins 4 Tbs
Orange or Apple juice, unsweetened 4 Tbs
Cinnamon 1/4 tsp
Nutmeg 2 pn

Directions

  1. Peel and core apples.
  2. Place each apple in individual glass casserole, fill center with raisins.
  3. Pour juice over raisins; sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Cover with wax paper and bake in microwave on high about 2 min. per apple until tender.

Microwave time and temp. may vary depending on your model and the size of the apples.
