Micro-Baked Apples

This recipe is great for those looking for a dessert that is very low in fat and sugar. However, small amounts of butter and brown sugar could be added if desired.

Ingredients
Apples, cored & peeled | 2 ea | |
Raisins | 4 Tbs | |
Orange or Apple juice, unsweetened | 4 Tbs | |
Cinnamon | 1/4 tsp | |
Nutmeg | 2 pn |
Directions
- Peel and core apples.
- Place each apple in individual glass casserole, fill center with raisins.
- Pour juice over raisins; sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Cover with wax paper and bake in microwave on high about 2 min. per apple until tender.
Microwave time and temp. may vary depending on your model and the size of the apples.
