About

Making a mulled apple cider is quite easy. Below is a recipe I created with just three simple steps. Served warm, with tasty warming spices, it provides comfort on cold days.  Great for entertaining during the fall and winter months.  Makes 4 litres.

Ingredients

Apple cider 4 liters
Cinnamon stick 1 ea
Nutmeg 1 ea
10 ea Cloves
Allspice 10 ea
Fresh ginger root, coarsely chopped 1 inch

Directions

  1. In a large pot, mix cider and spices together.
  2. Over medium-low heat, warm until steam lifts quickly from surface for about 1 hour; do not let boil.
  3. Serve while still warm. Can be cooled, refrigerated and re-warmed.
